How many point are you guys willing to spend on The French Laundry Private Dinner Party for 2?
Valuing Starpoints at .02 each, these packages are already up to $1600 with 7 days to go. Think I may just have to pass on this one.

Anything else included? That is about 15 dinners out on my budget.

I value my points at about $.03, so for $150 (which I know is a good deal compared to cash prices for these tix, but I'm not *that* married to the idea of going to the concert), I'd like to know where I'm going to be sitting, as Fenway is less than the ideal place for a concert.

It does say "Premium" seats in the description -- anyone have an idea what that really means in terms of location?
Anyone have any history with buying "Premium" seats and can help me out with what the location might be?

I don't think anyone here can tell you. Have you called the Moments people? They are the only ones who will know. I can tell you one time I got seats right behind the mixer board which is a pretty good place to see a show. Another time it was front row.

Just getting back to the thread -- I don't see a number for "Moments", and the deal is now sold out.

I think you could tell I wasn't CRAZY about doing this deal, so I'm not that upset. Now I know next time to call them for info if I can find a number.

Considering how poorly the show is selling, I bet I'll find more deals down the road if we decide to attend.

Thanks for the help.

I've seen some amazing concerts the past few years thanks to SPG Moments, but am disappointed they don't seem to be offering nearly as many concert options this year. Hope things loosen up a bit soon.

I wish they would do something in Asia. Whether it is sport or Concerts there is literally nothing for my part of the world.

The best hope I have is for the Formula 1 tickets when the races are next out here although I frankly doubt I am going to have the points to win one of those auctions given what they have been selling for so far.

They've done a lot of events in Asia over the last few years. The problem with Moments is that they don't have a twitter feed or email alerts. You have to keep checking regularly or you will miss out.

Good to know - For some reason I have only really been tuned in to it over the past few months and haven't seen anything at all during that time.

I guess I will keep checking in case something does pop up.

cheers

Some great moments on offer at the moment!

I especially like the North Sea Jazz one on offer, already have tickets, but am bidding anyway as these are VIP ones (please do not bid on lot nr 2 )

We did the Moments Cirque du Soleil in Zurich last weekend. I had bought two packages of 2 tickets each, and when suddenly the need for a 5th ticket came up the SPG team helped me out in the best possible way.

The deal itself was the 'standard' VIP Rouge program of CdS. The catering in Zurich was very good, including free flow Roederer champagne. Great seats, nice SPG hosts, very good show.

I would have never paid CHF 345 per ticket, but at 7,500 Starpoints for two it was great value. Really love the Moments program.

I just checked, and for the first time in my recollection there are no SPG moments listed - a technical glitch, or another sign of the impending apocalypse?

This happened last year at this time as well. Look for them to return after the New Year.
