As cool as it is I wish they would have come up with something more airport friendly. For those of us who carry their cards in their wallet it is a bit clunky and uncomfortable.

missing stay!
I really liked the map, but noticed one point (Westin, Sydney, Australia) that never made it to my map. The other points are too congested to see if there are other missing stays.

Also wondering if Lifetime Members will still receive their annual customized Platinum card? I like those choose-your-own-design card too.

If you want to customize a Lifetime Platinum card, you can do so by going to spg.com/mycard and designing one. Note: These cards will be plastic, not metal.

How about a bonus of some sort for lifetime platinums?
It's very nice to receive a custom package, and don't get me wrong, everyone at this level likes the recognition, but what would be really nice is a simple "free night" at any category level - to be used sometime in the coming year?
SPG used to drop in a few extra bonus things like that for Platinum members - in the "earned rewards" section of their account. Whatever happened to that simple gesture of recognition?
Also, does anyone know how many LTP's there are out there? I'm in Canada, and one of the SPG Agents told me back in February, there are less than 200 in all of Canada - how many could there be around the world?

I had a crowd of staff at the Sheraton Towers NYC front desk this afternoon to see the new card..they had all heard about it but not seen one yet! Nice response of enthusiasm from them!
Unfortunately...all that earned me was an upgrade from a Standard Queen award room to a King room on a higher floor...kinda dissapointing..used to get Suites here often..and it was my BDay today :-(
On a side note, the renovated rooms that have "shower only" are nice!

After all the glowing reports here I checked and mine hasn't arrived yet. So while on the phone with SPG I asked about it and it turns out that a large number of these cards haven't been sent out yet. There are some significant delays and it may take a few weeks.
I wonder if it is due to map productions? Or the metal card? I also wonder if the map displays our stays at hotels that are no longer with Starwood?

Mine came yesterday and when I checked into the Sheraton Pasadena this afternoon the ladies at the front desk hadn't seen one before and made quite a big deal out of it.

The point for Perth is missing. Maybe that's because the Sheraton Perth is now another brand.
In any case, I love the map!
