Has Hong Kong disappeared on spg.com?

Tried several times this morning, but I cannot get spg.com to load up any HKG hotels.

Tried doing just a "China" search but again no HKG hotels listed....

Then went to meridien.com to see if I could pull up the Meridien Cyberport on the destination map. Again no luck.

Where did Hong Kong go!?

Yup - gone for me, too.

I turned on CNN to see if there is any "Breaking News" regarding the annihilation of Hong Kong, but nothing so far.

I noticed this too. I have been procrastinating on booking a trip to Hong Kong.

I went to the W hotels site, and noticed that the W Hong Kong has migrated from Cat 5 to Cat 6. I would imagine they are jacking up the price on spg.com as we speak. Ouch! It's going to cost me 20,000-25,000 a night now instead of 12,000!I should have booked it last month!!

Very strange. No HK properties listed at all. Maybe a lurker will chime in?

Yikes, you're right. I just spent last night in a nonexistent hotel and I'm planning to sleep here again tonight.

LOL. We've had a Lurker outage for a couple of days. Maybe call SPG and alert them?

This kind of weird glitch seems to come up from time to time affecting various properties.

I always find it amusing when Google works better than a company site's own search. It happens a lot.

it's scary to stay in a nonexistent hotel. When I see a ghost, it might be me.

This is a strategic SPG initiate to bring the ADR and occupancy rate of the Hong Kong properties down.
