Where you going next with SPG?

Stealing an idea from my Luxury Forum friends, which sometimes allows peers to meet up while in the same cities or at the same properties, I thought I’d start this Starwood “where are you going next” thread.

There’s a sticky on this forum for this exact same purpose (which sadly hardly anyone uses regularly):

The FT Starwood Meeting Thread 2017

Why is it sad? Maybe most people don't want their every move tracked in a public forum?

Do you have your full name and/or photo on your FT profile? If not, how is your every move going to be tracked?

Personally, I think that more than 4/500 posters on this forum would like the idea of meeting up during what can be lonely business trips, but most probably don’t know about the thread/ don’t have the time/inclination to post their stays. As for the others “who don’t want their every move tracked in a public forum”, no one’s forcing you to post anything.

I think the vague month by month without specific dates listing isn’t too risky. It seeks like plenty have no issue on the Luxury Forum thread. But to each, their own.

I’ve been able to connect with numerous posters from the Luxury Forum because of that thread. It also has alerted us to ask questions about certain properties of interest, knowing someone in particular will be traveling to properties of interest. So I thought it might be fun to try it with the Starwood thread.

As there’s already a thread with a very similar purpose, I’ll close this one and invite further contributions there.

Meetups can be posted by week or month rather than specific dates, as you wish.
