Think we guesstimated it as 12noon EST 60 hours from checkin day

EDIT: whoops maths obviously failed - it should be 120 hours ie 5 days

Option 1. The system knows to pull oldest SNA's first.

Does anyone know how much, if any, properties get paid by using SNA? Properties do get paid when redeeming Starpoints with a sliding scale.

Applying SNA to Award Reservation

Has any body had trouble applying SNA to an award reservation?

Since most of my travel is for business, SNAs are only useful on award reservations. Of course, the one time I have an award stay the system says I can't use them.

I call SPG and they said I "should" be able to use them - but that there is a technical glitch that isn't allowing them to be applied to my reservation. Apparently, the Sydney Sheraton on the Park changed their in-house reservation system AFTER I made the reservation - so SPG and the hotel's reservation systems can't "talk" to each other.

SPG tells me to contact the hotel directly for assistance. The hotel says only SPG can apply the SNA. I am being thrown back and forth and am very frustrated. Anyone have any recommendations what to do next?

The reservation is for 5 nights this May 28 - spg.com shows exeuctive suites available.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I tried that and there is no link to apply SNAs. Really frustrating no one at SPG can help me with this. I have tried online chat, calling customer service, emailing customer service, twitter, and contacting the hotel directly. No one can help me with my simple request to apply SNA to an award reservation. ARgh.

On my booking email on the right hand side underneath your Starwood Preferred Guest details I have:

Suite Night Awards

Suite Night Award Balance: 7

Upgrade your stay using your Suite Night Awards. Click here to request an upgrade.

If I click on here I get taken to the upgrade request page. I was able to book SNAs here when I could not on the SPG site.

I suspect this is the type of information that SPG considers proprietary and almost certainly isn't publicly available.

Is there a reason that it would show me as having the option to select suites for a SNA but when I go to finalize it says I cannot?

This keeps happening at the W South Beach and the "W Insider" for the property that reached out re: my stay is not writing back.

This is for a paid reservation with my corporate rate that typically allows me to use SNAs when available. I've seen when it says on the "stays" page that they are not available. That's not what I'm talking about: the "stays" page says I can but an error says I cannot.

Have you tried asking anyone at the SPG Customer Contact Center if they can add the SNA's?
