The Elite Thank You program ended on December 31, 2017. You have until June 30, 2018, to award your Thank You certificates to SPG associates.

A great way to say thanks -

You expect and deserve outstanding service from SPG®. So when an associate goes above and beyond to make your stay, it’s nice to have a special way to express your thanks.

That’s what Elite Thank You certificates are all about. Print yours now to make the day of every deserving SPG associate who receives one.

Remember: All SPG associates and customer care agents are eligible to receive Elite Thank You certificates. Enjoy giving them — and we’ll keep looking for ways to earn them.

From T&C :"however, the certificates cannot be used as a form of bribery or fraud, nor may the certificates be sold in any manner"

Can someone kindly point to a post or posts in this thread indicating what the employee receives? Is it "useless" to employees or actually meaningful?

Strangely, I requested one earlier in January and it had an expiry date of Feb/2016.
Then, I requalified this year and requested one earlier this month and it had an expiry date of Dec/2015.

Just confirming that if these are expired, they would not be useful for their intended purpose.

Ahh nuts. Thanks for the quick responses, and especially as always, your engagement with us William!

I also got your PM and plan to reply, but cannot seem to get my phone to do so from the FT app. Besides, I'm busy enjoying the W ATL Midtown this weekend .

Data point: my certs from 2014 expired early this year. I was directed to the self-print website and printed out another set - these expire Jun 30, 2016.

I have yet to requal this year so I presume these are from requalifying last year. But I was not able to get them until the previous set expired.

It's a shame that these cards expire. I also just found a few that already expired so they are trash, but it would have been nice to be able to gift them. I did get an email last week letting me know that I can print out a new set.

It's now the end of April. I haven't received my membership card, which I've requested twice, nor have I received these certs. Thoughts Lurkers?

Your first request on February 3rd via the MyCard site was a preference for a digital card, so no plastic card would have been sent. Not sure what may have happened to your subsequent requests in late February, March and April, but I'm more than happy to check.

Regarding the Elite Thank You's, what message do you get when you request them here: http://www.spgpromos.com/elitethankyou/

I actually requested a print copy w/ my usual image (StR), and then a digital copy on the same day. The digital copy, which should've had that same image was of some ski resort instead. I don't think I made a request in April, but I did make a request in mid-March when I saw nothing showed up.

As for the Elite Thank You website, it says that I will receive it in 12 weeks, but I wanted to give all my cards to my ambassador for putting up with me over the last few months. I'll use the print option now, so I'm no longer delayed in accomplishing that feat.

Thanks!

Yes, I just leave off the NY because it is the original. Same way I don't call the W=A "Waldorf=Astoria New York." Yes, I'm a New Yorker set in my ways.

After requalifying this year, I received ones that will end on Dec 31/2015.
