Some special I wasn't aware of?
If you're Plat then you should revise your profile. I just spent 3 nights at the Westin FLL and was upgraded to a junior suite, odd furniture layout without a real coffee table.
Out of curiosity--what is the lag like on the second 500 miles posting?
I have two stays (one 2+ weeks old) at a property on the supplemental list--have received the first batch (as I have since this promotion launched) but not the second 500.

See post #235. Mine posted at the same time as the regular bonus, i.e. Saturday night following my stay.

Was the stay after February 18? That is when the 500 additional points promo started...
In my experience the hotel bonus pts posted at the same time as NAN points.

I stayed last week Feb 25-27 in a "lucky" identified hotel. 1000 Night after Night points posted in Saturday sweep but not the 500/night hotel bonus( SPGNAN500/NT HTL BNS 85H) Somewhere in this thread I read they will be separate and should show in 3 weeks, so I will keep an eye out for them.
i received an email regarding this promotion, for which I am already enrolled. They are upping the ante to 1000 starpoints per night. here's the language of the offer:
Your nights just became even richer. You'll recall that when you registered for our SPG® Night After Night promotion you started earning 500 bonus Starpoints® with each night, plus 5,000 more every 10th night through April 30, 2009, at over 890 hotel and resorts worldwide. Well now you're also set to earn an additional 500 bonus Starpoints (for a total of 1,000 bonus Starpoints each night) at over 250 properties between February 18 and April 30, 2009. You're already registered, so just book and stay to earn up to 1,000 bonus Starpoints per night, plus 5,000 Starpoints for every 10th night through April 30, 2009.
After that, there's a "book here" link.
My question is this... I have an existing reservatin for 5 nights at one of the properties that's included in this. Will I still receive this bonus?
Any input is much appreciated!
thanks,
carsonheim

don't know the answer to your question, but just got the same email...rock on SPG! Just made me switch a Marriott stay to an SPG stay for tomorrow night! :-)

Check out the Night After Nights thread. Start at post #176 when Lurker II advised us of the bonus on top of the promo. It's been in effect since Feb 18.

OK, I should know this cold, but it's based on check-in time, not check-out, right? i.e., checking in on 30 April and out on 01 May should stil qualify, right?

That would be considered to be the night of April 30th, so yes, it would count.

Well, considering it's a "per night" bonus, and you will be staying the night of April 30, I would say yes you will get the bonus for that night. If, on the other hand, you were staying two nights checking out on March 2, I think you would get the bonus for the first night, but not the second.
[edit] Wow, William is fast today! lol

All my stays were posting nice, until 3 weeks ago. My CCC 500 points are not posting, I have no idea if I have gotten all of the extra 500 points or not.
The one and only nice thing about a MR stay, any points associated with that stay, are posted with that stay, irregardless of the date posted. It would make it SO much easier to keep track of our points.
On another point, I also have had >85% of my stays at SPG this year. The only time NOT at SPG, was when no properties are available. I then went to HH. A dramatic change to last year when this point, I had 15-20 MR nights, this year none!

I completely agree! (well, aside from the fact that "irregardless" is not a word )
