A friend's TA had booked a corporate rate for a FP that showed up on the spg website, however, the hotel re-booked a new reservation with a rate they guarantee will accrue points and night credit. Is this still eligible?
Dear sggolf,
Has anyone answered your query?
If not, do send me a note or email with the details of the reservation so that we can advise directly and assumptions are avoided.

Hello everyone (yes, I'm new here, can't resist to share my experience with SPG!).
I stayed at Sheraton Kuala Lumpur last week. Within a few days, the two night bonus credit appeared in my SPG account. Hence I'm 1,000 points richer, LOL.
P/S: Trying to get another 3-night stay this March. Yes, the bonus is "that" good.
At over a couple of our properties in US, Canada, and Asia Pacific, members will earn 1000 Starpoints per night instead of the 500. The eligible dates for this additional 500 bonus are February 18th- April 30th.
I have stayed 17-22 February at the hotel which is eligible for 1000 pts. How that would be treated?

Of course the aLoft Las colinas/Irving is not on the new list. Last week I convinced 4 of my co-workers we should stay there next week. Unfortunatelyt corporate rates are too high at the Westin and Sheraton DFW so can't change to those. At least I kept them from going to Hhonors properties.
I stayed from 15th - 19th at the Sheraton BWI Airport for 4 Nights.
But, I am seeing only 2000 Bonus Points instead of the 2500 Points. Will the additional Bonus Points post at a later date? Please let me know.

I'm told that they will post later on; probably in the next sweep.

The list of properties in US, Canada, and Asia Pacific, where members will earn 1000 Starpoints per night instead of the 500 includes the Sheraton Suites Philadelphia. I do not know of a Sheraton Suites property in Philadelphia other than at PHL. Is this the property in question although "airport" is omitted from the name?
As an aside, for the same price would anyone stay at the PHL Sheraton Suites rather than the FP for this additional 500 pts?

Okay...just did my first 2 nights for the promo at the 4 Pts Daning, Shanghai. Regular pts, Plat amenity bonus (250), and stay credit have been posted. Awaiting the 500 bonus pts (web-booking), 1000 pts (NAN promo) and the additional 1000 pts (the bonus promo for specific hotel) to be posted to my accts within 3 weeks.
The next 2 nights will be at 4 Pts Shenzhen end of March and early April, then, a series of 6 nights in April to complete the 10 nights requirement by mid April. I should expect this promo to boost my Starpoints to be above 20k, more than enough for me to transfer to my miles (25,000 miles); and 1 night for C+P for a Cat 5 US property perhaps?
Nice. I was going to report missing points for the extra 500/night for a stay Feb 18 -21. The 1500 was already shown up. And another 1500 is coming.:-)

Had to register twice - has this happend to anyone else?
I had registered for this promo when it first came out and did my first stay last week. The points from my stay as well as the onhold bonus have already been posted but not the first set of the 500 bonus points. So I tried registering for the promo again expecting to see "Sorry, you have already registered for this promo". But it didn't. To my surprise, it said, "You are now registered...".
I'm certain that I had registered for this promo before because I still have the email somewhere, and I know that William had said those who have registered previously should automatically be registered for the additional points promo. But I guess it doesn't hurt to try registering for the promo again in case there's a glitch somewhere.
I guess I'll have to wait till this Saturday to see if I'll get my first set of bonus points.
