See this thread:

If you clear your Amex cookies, you'll likely see the 10K plus 15K offer. Whether you'll get the points in the end is a different question.

I did the same thing by appying in incognito mode. Got the 25K points. Just remember to enter all your information again (it will ask you if you have an existing id - do not login using that). Once the card is approved and generated, it will not get linked to your existing ID automatically. Once you have the card in your hand, you can do this in a few minutes.

10k + 15k offer expiring June 13 or not???
I got an offer in my email the other day for an SPG AMEX. The strange thing is: It's the same 10k + 15k = 25k, but it claims the offer wil disappear after June 13. Since it's same as the public offer posted everywhere (including a banner ad right on this page as I'm posting this), which doesn't list any expiration date, what's up? Is the public offer expiring then, or is it a bogus date they're justing trying to scare me with?
(I hope it is disappearing June 13 and being replaced with a better offer. )
Here's my email:

My class action settlement check came today for the foreign currency surcharge BS. The $8.23 will go a long way toward helping settle my next stay's bill in Manhattan!

Wondering what has recently been offered as a retention bonus. My first af with this CC is about ~60 days out from hitting.
For background: The SPG AMEX is in the back of my wallet and only comes out for electronics purchases and *wood stays (both of which have been rare this CY). I cancelled the Gold Delta AMEX earlier this year when they yanked the DL companion tix--not sure if that affects what I may be offered.
Thanks.

How long after you activated the card, did you see the 2 stay and 5 night credits?
It now says I am a "Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card Member" on the SPG home page, but the credits have not posted.

I really wish the FOREX fees would go away on this card. I used to use it all the time. However with my recent increase in international travel, I keep forgetting to reload it in my wallet upon return to the states.

It's a sorry state of affairs for Amex that I get a better return when using a CSP on foreign SPG properties than the actual SPG card itself.
