You will be surprised with UA's offering for lunch/dinner.

I have been to the SQ HK Lounge a few times in recent weeks and I have not noticed any food items were pulled. In fact, I have noticed more items been added. The cook-to-order Laksa and Wonton Soup noodle are also available.
Without reading your comments above, I was under the impression SQ has been trying to upgrade its internationally located Silverkris Lounge offerings recently. I have also been to the SQ lounge in Sydney and Bangkok (brand new lounge) recently and observed improvement in food offerings as well as fixtures.

More like permanent.
Because the particular food item in question has been pulled way before you know it.
Hint - it was a seafood-related item.
It was the same menu after all.
Do you know how long these have been on the order-to-cook menu?
The Laksa is always there (I don't blame them given it is SQ). At a time, an alternative was provided for Wonton Soup noodle - Hong Kong-styled Fish Ball Rice noodle, but switched back after a while.
SQ has improved its food quality served within SKL.
However - it does not mean the menu changes.
Can't comment as I was never in those airports.

UA all the way
have tried SQ, TG and UA lounges (the Priority Pass ones as well)
UA wins hands down! Great breakfast, infused water, turkey on thxgiving, much better variety and quality than the others. The other lounges were serving the same food, unlike UA's which was different and much better. Hard to believe thats a UA club given the shabby ones back in the states!
This and the one @ LHR are the only ones worth using those 1 time passes on imho
Not to say there is no scope for improvement - namely the showers!

However, both SQ and TG are not as well managed as their lounges at their home bases.
FWIW - the competition did not start until the SKL @ HKG has renovated. From that you can tell the SKL's reputation.

Depends what your "food" preferences are I guess. I don't care for the type of food in the UA lounge but that is just my preference--at least a few here like UA's offerings.

I've heard only good things about the SQ F lounge. It's usually empty and they have made-to-order dishes (I believe most are Singaporian). I'd expect the UA F lounge to be busier.

Thanks for the feedback, but I am more interested in the showers as I would be coming directly from work and will be having lobster on TG F.
