Lounge Access for Business Class award help
Can someone help me with lounge info, I'm flying out of CDG (Lufthansa)> FRA (united) > DCA (united) > home on a business class award. When I went to the Lufthansa site it said lounge access is for paid tickets. United site says business class tickets can use any partner lounge that day but didn't mention anything about paid vs award ticket.
I have silver mileage plus status through the Marriott rewards partnership if that matters. Any advice would be appreciated.
1. What are my options for accessing the lounges at these airports?
2. Also will I be allowed in the 1st class Lufthansa lounge in Frankfurt?
3. Do I have to pay for the shower and food if i'm allowed in?

for these purposes, an award ticket is considered a "paid" ticket. Go to the Star alliance website, which has a lounge finder on it.
Your silver elite status is less powerful than Business Class here.
You can access the business class lounge. Since you are flying business class..

you can access the *A lounge in FRA as long as on your BP mention that you fly business.
you will not get entry to the 1st class lounge.
you don't need to pay for services if any (not all of them are equipped with showers).

United flies nonstop from FRA to Dulles (IAD). Are you flying to IAD or connecting at EWR to fly into Reagan-National Airport (DCA)?

Welcome to FlyerTalk!
You will have access to the *A Business Lounge at CDG if the CDG-FRA segment is in business class. You will have access to the LH Business Lounge at FRA if the FRA-IAD segment is in business class.
