Unfortunately the vast majority of my miles are with AMEX, so I can't transfer to UA or US. And I need to use Aeroplan so my "round the world" trip is only 175,000 miles instead of 300k.....

Arug, I hate hitting a brick wall.....

Do Star Alliance partners code share? Meaning LH has high taxes, however LX doesn't.....I think they code share, do others?
