award Q: IAD-NRT UA C, NH C(2 class old) AC Exec, LH C (a380) or CO C
so I am flying from IAD-NRT on award tix, I have the option of:
UA C
LH C on A380
AC Exec
NH C old C
CO C
If you had an option which would you take? I have been on UA C many times, im looking for the overall experience as my GF who I am suprising this with has never flown INTL C.
best seat, best food, best wines (yeah I know UA sucks in this area, haha)
Thank you!!!

The CO option will also have flat bed and AVOD and will also allow for sitting comfortably with another passenger, something that the AC pods are not good at.
I'd take CO or AC first, NH or UA second (only if you can guarantee new C on UA) and LH third. Yes, LH is the A380 and the C service I had on my trip in December was better than previous trips, but it still is a mediocre seat, meal and IFE.

Im leaning towards AC as I have never been in that seat before, and I like the bar thing they have.

You should get the UA lie flat C seat form IAD-ZRH (I think it is exclusively a PMUA 763) and LX to NRT.

Avoid LH on the 380...even if you really want to fly on the 380, there are MUCH better options!
My order: AC, NH, way way down UA/CO and way further down: LH.
The soft product on UA/CO is dreadful with respect to the competition and LH's is horrible on the 380 - your service (and your girlfriend will think the same thing) will be more akin to economy service on the 380 - big carts, no personalisation, no real 'business' feel, aside from food on ceramics and a bigger screen - with the crummy angled/wedgie seats.
Good luck!

If you can get the UA F nonstop versus a connection on AC, I personally would take it.

The new UA F is a great hard product. Great for sleeping, very comfortable seat. Better service than C. Basically the same food (larger portions?). But food and service not the equal of NH or OZ in C.
