Madrid: biciMAD / AVE train luggage

5 nights Madrid city center
4 nights near Madrid, Toledo-Segovia
2 final nights Madrid city

is biciMAD all-electric?
what is best rental strategy for tourists?
annual pass (not returning within year)
pay per 1 hr usage? other?

AVE train to-from Toledo, Segovia
what is luggage limit per person?

Thanks in advance!

The Renfe website should tell you luggage allowance. But I doubt it's really enforced. On the 30 minutes ride to Toledo I don't think I saw any employees on the train. Toledo is a lot of climbing

The BiciMad program does have an occasional card

I would recommend taking the bus for a day trip to Segovia. The ave station is quite far from where you want to be as a tourist. Buses leave quite frequently from the Moncloa station.

The train to Toledo should work. If you are reasonable with luggage it should be fine, though not many people will have big bags.

Whatever the 'allowance' it is not enforced. If you can carry your luggage and can lift into the overhead or place in the end of carriage area you will not have a problem.

Have been told elsewhere there is 1 or 3 or 5-day pass,
but can't find confirmation of this anywhere...
Can anyone post link to it? Thanks!
