Barcelona for my (grown up) stag party ...
Good afternoon all.
I shall be getting married on 23 May this year.
I have decided that my stag do will be in Barcelona, after attending stag's in Marbella and Vegas in recent years.
I am 39 (!!) now, so I have zero interest in being dressed as a baby/stripper/oompa loompa and being humiliated in public!
We arrive in Barcelona at 09:30 on Thursday 30th April and depart late on Sunday 3rd May.
I am looking for things to do!
We would like a round of golf somewhere within commuting distance of central Barcelona, and would prefer to keep the costs (well) below EUR100 per person for a round. Any suggestions?
Also looking for club/bar/restaurant recommendations.
There will be 10 of us attending, ages from 30 to 65!
Any/all suggestions gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Chris

I don't golf, so I can't help you there. But here are some restaurant/bar/club ideas:
Restaurants
Probably my 2 favorites are Paco Meralgo (in the Gracia neighborhood, www.restaurantpacomeralgo.com) and Lolita Taperia, right by the Poble Sec Metro stop (www.lolitataperia.com). There's also a great gin-and-tonics place across the street called XIXBar.
Also right there is Tickets Bar, which is one of the toughest restaurants in the world to get a reservation, but also amazing and you should definitely check website regularly in case something opens up (www.ticketsbar.es).
Comerc 24 and Tapac 24 are pretty famous -- www.Projectes24.com. I really like Repla, which is more casual/tapas, and its more sit-down sister Pla -- www.elpla.cat - in the Born neighborhood and kind of hard to find.
Bars/clubs
La Champagneria - favorite early evening spot. Chill, drink cava cheap in La Barceloneta
The Eclipse Bar at the W is a pretty good scene.
absinthe bar called Bar Marsella that is about 200 years old.
Club -- Be Cool - electronic music
Bar 13 - off Placa Reial - tiny little spot tucked away but an old favorite
Anywhere in el Born, also for shopping/art as well as food/drinks
Clubs -- there are a bunch right by the Hotel Arts down by the beach. Haven't been in a couple years, so can't tell you which are good now, but there are plenty of options.
