6 hour layover in BCN enough to visit Sagrada Familia?

I'll be arriving BCN at 12:20 and departing at 18:25. I'm coming in from FRA and departing for RAK. I will be on Vueling with a US passport if it makes a difference.

I am hoping to visit Sagrada Familia. I plan on buying a ticket in advance and taking a taxi to/from SF. Do people this this is doable, or is this a disaster waiting to happen?

I think this is doable. Google says the travel time is 20 minutes, which seems optimistic, but you could triple that and still be OK.

If you buy your ticket online you'll be able to bypass the line and walk right in, just plan a time when you'll be sure you'll be there, since the times are pretty specific. If you book a tour you'll be allowed in 30 minutes prior to the tour, and that gave us some gawking time before the tour began.

Coming in from FRA you won't have immigration to deal with which helps.

land = 12:20

hailing taxi - 12:45

at Sagrada Familia = 13:30

book 14:00 tour which allows you in by 13:30

15:00 - 16:00 TAPAS

16:00 - hail taxi for airport

16:45 - back at airport

What milepig wrote is mainly correct, and the answer is yes, it is very doable. One big question is if you have to collect luggage or you have carry on only. Arriving into BCN from FRA, IF THE FLIGHT IS NOT DELAYED, you will be outside of the airport and in the taxi just as milepig wrote, about 25 minutes, if you have carry on luggage only.

The rest of the milepig plan is perfect, and gives you a one hour window for "tapas" that can be used inside the cathedral if you would prefer. Leaving BCN for RAK you'll have to go through immigration but there is rarely a line for that at BCN, and security control is generally very fast as well. You could arrive 90 minutes before your flight departure without worrying (again, assuming only carry on luggage).
