Hey everyone. I wanted to see if any of you had had a similar situtation to the one that I experienced. I bought a round trip fare on December 30th and everything went as usual on the Southwest website. I put in all my CC info and ended up getting a confirmation number. When I went to check my email a few hours later, I noticed that I hadn't gotten the normal Southwest travel receipt that usually shows up in my email within minutes of booking. I went back to the Southwest main page and entered my confirmation number, and pulled up my flight, which appeared correct. I ended up manually sending a booking confirmation.
Since then, I checked my bank account and no charges have been incurred for booking these tickets. The only reason I am curious is because I have noticed in the past that these charges usually come out immediately after booking. It has been 2-3 days since then, and still no charges and no automatic travel receipt was sent to my email. I'm pretty sure my email was put in correctly during booking, as I was logged into my Rapid Rewards account.
Also, I booked another flight around an hour after the previously mentioned one, and received the normal automatic email from WN.
Anyway, I was just hoping that thing don't go awry when I try to check-in and there is no record of my tickets. I realize it is around a major holiday, but I still found it unusual.
