Hertz Promotion Through April 30, 2003:

Double Upgrade from Hertz
You can receive a Double Upgrade on rentals of a Compact (Class B) through Special Sporty (Class D) car at participating locations in the U.S., with a maximum upgrade to a Premium (Class G) car. This offer is valid when you rent on a qualifying Leisure Weekly or Leisure Weekend Rate rental of two or more days. And not just once, but everytime you rent through April 30, 2003.

At time of reservation, you must provide your Rapid Rewards membership number, Rapid Rewards discount number CDP 205418, and PC #936795. Reserve your car now.

Terms and Conditions: Upgrade is subject to larger car availability at time of pickup. One day advance reservation is required. Offer may not be available at some times in some locations especially during periods of peak demand. Blackout dates may apply. Minimum rental age is 25 (exceptions apply). Taxes, tax reimbursement, governmental surcharges and optional services, such as refueling, are extra. Standard rental qualifications, rental period and return restrictions apply. This offer has no cash value and may not be combined with any other offer, discount, coupon or promotion. Frequent Flyer Surcharge of $.50 per day, up to a maximum of $2.00 per rental, may apply.

Hertz COUPON # 936913 CDP # 205418
Triple credit on leisure weekend or weekly rentals through June 30, 2003 (or a double upgrade if your prefer). Nothing about a flight being necessary to get the triple miles.

What is the minimum number of weekend days required on this last Hertz triple miles promotion? What car classes qualify?

Anybody know of other current WN promo codes for rental cars?

I contacted Hertz today after booking a two-day (Sat-Sun) rental for a compact car. It qualified for the triple promo.

So now we know that at least a compact car for two weekend days qualifies for the promo.

Dollar is having a double credit offer (1 credit instead of the regular half credit) for rentals up to June 30th. The promo was announced today in the Rapid Report on Southwest.com. but started on April 1. There is a code you will find there to use when booking. You have to rent a minumum of a luxury car class and above.

The Hertz offer I posted above March 30th requires a 2 or more day rental for leisure weekend for ANY CAR CLASS every time you rent through June 30, 2003. My last one just posted as quadruple miles for the leisure weekly, 1.5 with a separate .5 on my Southwest account all stating Hertz rental with the same dates. I haven't done the weekend rental so I don't know if it will post this way or just as triple points as the offer indicates. You also seem to get a 10% discount over regular rates by entering the CDP code.

I rented April 5th-11th on a weekly at Hertz with this promotion, and it posted as of Friday April 18th. So, one week after my return. My previous one in February only took 2 days to post. Hope this helps! (now if only Choice Hotel credits would post-but that is another story entirely)

I did two weekend rentals, one Sat eve through Mon early morning at TPA in early April, and one Thu aft through Sat aft at OAK in late April, and both posted at 1.5 + .5 (so 2 credits total!) the same way. Both were compact (next class up from economy) rentals.

Also, in my online RR Account Summary, the 1.5 line's "description" field says "Hrtz Triple Cr 1/1/03-9/30/03", which implies it may be valid through Sep 30 now rather than just Jun 30?
