Change RR itinarary without knowing name on CC
Hey,
So I am being flown out for a job interview and the company used a RR voucher for my flight.
Is there any way without contacting the recruiter, that I can change my flight (subject to avail of course)
I'd like to stay in the city an extra day...
I checked the FAQ and couldn't find anything addressing this. Suggestions much appreciated...

You can always call SW res agents and ask.
But you do bring up another question - if this company is confiscating its employees' RR awards (unless somebody's buying them against SW rules), that tells you a little bit about how the company treats its employees.
Unless the alternative was selling pencils on the street, I would NEVER work for an outfit that stole airline awards from me, since they're such a small token to leave with me for the downside of being away from home 24 hours a day for the length of the trip. Doesn't matter that the company paid for the tickets - it's MY butt on the trip and they don't own me 7X24. Except temporarily.
If it's an hourly job, will they be paying you for 24 hours a day?
OT: Anybody have recent statistics on how many companies are into the confiscation game?

Hmm interesting question. It's a small private company, so it wouldn't surprise me if this was the CEO's own RR's that may be expiring soon or some other logical explanation.
I know they don't "confiscate" RR's because several acquaintances work there and they are always using their RR's for personal flights...
I would never work for a company that took my flight rewards as well...

Before you jump on the warpath, go back and reread the OP. It stated "RR Voucher" not an award.
Now you could be right, but I'm thinking blondeterp might have confused a SWA travel voucher with a RR reward. If so, there might be a bit of backtracking required.
Getting back to the original question, is this possible, will they give you this information?
I'm forced to go through a Company travel agency to book. Some how they book WN on my behalf and hit a corporate AMEX credit card. Numerous times I've tried to change the intinary online and couldn't using the name my AP manager tells me is on the card. It just doesn't work for me, what a pain!
Maybe the company puts payments on a WN Visa card, or a Choice Privileges card, or some other and gets RR credits that way. Not a bad idea if they are flying people around. Put the card in the owner/CEO's name and he gets a CP out of it, too.

Try the name of the company instead of someone's name. Worked for me.
What is your objection to contacting the recruiter? As already noted, a new confirmation will be sent when the itinerary is changed, so the company will find out whether you ask in advance or not.
Before you try anything, look at things from the other side of the arrangement. Would you be eager to hire someone who went behind your back to obtain a personal benefit from something you were providing to the prospective employee? Would you wonder whether the candidate was serious about the job or just using the interview as an excuse for a nearly-free vacation?
I'd strongly advise calling the company and explaining what you want to do. Presumably if you need to fly there for an interview you will need to relocate if you accept the position. It is perfectly reasonable that you'd want some time to look around a city that could become your new home. Unless this is a multiple-interview process where the looking around is supposed to wait until a later step, the company should be willing to make the change. They might even pick up the room cost, if you aren't staying with one of your acquaintances.
In any event I find it disturbing that this particular question was asked and I hope you can see why.
