No underwear? Why didn't Keith say that?
WN just jumped the shark if they don't get after this and apologize for not handling the situation correctly. It should have been made perfectly clear the reason she was tossed off the flight.

No underwear has to be the reason. Don't you think somebody in the gate area would have complained? Only way is if she didn't sit down.

FHM soon.

If I believed her version of the story, I'd be upset at Southwest. But I don't believe it. Nobody who is familiar with Southwest or who looked at the myspace page would believe it either.

Tell you what. Try boarding with a short Scottish kilt with the traditional undergarments: nothing underneath. Make sure someone notices, and get yourself kicked off the plane. Then sue Southwest for sex discrimination of one sort or another. Just be sure to exclude me from the jury.

People who set out to cause a disruption have no business complaining when they succeed. It used to be that such anti-social behavior was not rewarded in any way.

Easiest thing to read. Today Show blog, explains what happened when she was on the show this morning. The skirt was quite short. But overall I don't see how it's worse than what a lot of other people wear on the plane. You could argue that they are all dressing inappropriately, I suppose, but you can't apply this sort of thing unevenly.

That video is rich. Notice that she had to pull down her shirt and skirt when she stood, and the skirt didn't cover her underwear as she sat down.

Yes, she certainly looks like she's been rode hard and put away wet.

I've seen worse on AirTran. Did I complain? No. If a woman is comfortable enough with her body to wear a tight white shirt with no bra, more power to her.

This lady on WN was wearing a bra, a shirt, and a sweater so no nipplage there. If you are offended because there are kid present, then have the kid go up to the woman and say something like you would hear on Kids say the Darndest Things.

I wonder what would happen when she reached up to put something in the overhead compartment...

[quote=curbcrusher;8364961]If by "peers" you mean "tramps," you're probably right.

You've seen the MySpace picture, right? I find it hard to believe that someone who posts pictures of themselves nearly naked on MySpace for all and asunder to see would not dress similarly in public.

To each their own. I'm just saying that I have seen similar or more revealing on Southwest and other airlines. It's not my place to call someone a tramp for what they wear. It works for some and not for others.

Have you been to Myspace much? Again, I've seen a lot more on some pages that even she reveals on hers. Mom and Dad would be proud if they only knew what their kids were posting. But then again, what is on her Myspace page is not the issue here, is it?

I don't see the relevance of the MySpace photos to the issue of the appropriateness of the outfit she chose to wear on the WN flight. Even porn stars shouldn't be hassled on commercial airplanes if they're wearing a miniskirt and a top, should they?

Whale of a Tale

Fits right in with all the debates about muffin-tops and whale tails of late. I've seen what she wore on every flight I've taken to or from Las Vegas. What she wore.

Is it possible to hold these two thoughts:

The outfit, as she wore it on Today, was not different from the one that one of the hosts was wearing -- today -- north of the equator, anyway. Possibly it was about what she might not have been wearing south.

Second, given the back story here, NBC was had, or at least used. At least, Research was asleep at the wheel.

I bet another back story was that someone complained strongly (may have missed the whale tail if there was one) and the FA took the path of least resistance. If you think the debate here is strong, imagine what it must be in the halls and galleys of WN.....

The myspace photos and references to FHM and Heffner (sic) demonstrate a propensity for exhibitionism. That demolishes her credibility on the factual question of whether the outfit was too revealing.

As to porn stars, we already have one report on that.

Wow. The blog is on fire. It's amazing how many people are coming out in support of crotch shots on board.
