Expiring Credits (RR 1.0): redeem, donate, or use some other way?
Hi:
I have two credits in the old RR 1.0 system which expire in a week. I could top it off after converting my current set of RR 2.0 points to get a ticket (would run $75), but I often take short flights so it seems to make more sense to just keep my 2.0 points.
Is there another way I could use these credits before they expire? Probably not worth doing much more work on this, though kind of sad to be leaving money on the table. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I'm not aware of any organization that can make use of less than 8 credits. (If you had 8 credits, you could create an AirTran account and transfer the credits to get a one-way free trip.
As to points, I would expect an organization to need a minimum of 3k to 5k points to be usable.

I don't have any RR credits but I DO have some "credit money" I banked when flight prices went down. I'm probably not going to use them personally before they expire, and back in the day I could let someone else use them, but I believe they closed that opportunity.

So will I just lose them?
You can resurrect TTFs for $75 I think it is. So if it is less than that, yes, they expire worthless.

Sounds like my on,ly real feasible option is the transfer-to-airtran + donate route which mke9499 suggested (very clever!). Wish there was a away I could use em myself but I guess that will not work here.
