Southwest Announces Service to Puerto Rico - Will Companion Pass Work?

Anyone tried a companion pass booking yet?

Looking closer....it looks like there are no direct flights between BWI and San Juan. There are such flights on AirTran. Disappointing.

I've already booked mine for the first week in October using my companion pass, no troubles, did everything on the Southwest website. It's quite an interesting flight because we leave from DSM and never get off our plane. 2 stops, no plane change out of DSM is the last thing I would expect.

I could add my wife on companion pass from LAX - SJU - LAX during my Christmas trip Dec 22 - 29.. Pretty easy to add companion after me and my daughter were confirmed first..

We used a CP back in May to go BWI-SJU. No issues.
