My statement just closed and the Ultimate Rewards earned is such that these transactions are counting.

If you are considering buying for the points and flipping, beware the resale values have been eroding. I have some Marriott stays that I can put them toward but had resold the first batch, won't be doing that again.

Second round for yourself, or a spouse? It's $1000 max per person, yes?

Second round for myself. Same name, same CC, same Southwest account.

I am thinking $1000 limit is per transaction.

Nope and you must have gotten lucky on this. Per the T&Cs - "Maximum amount of Rapid Rewards Points eligible to earn for this promotion is 12,000 points per Member during promotional period."

After purchasing first $1000 i received an email with the offer (not sure if it was slow or new offer). Few others here also got the same email. The link in the email didn't have any special codes, just plain link to offer page. Lets see if i will receive the email again.

Call them? It could be targeted I guess, not sure as I still have $500 worth from my trip in June. Thought I would need $1000 worth, and was able to get the LPG for under $500. Haha. Now going to try to use them in SJU in January.

Not a bad deal. If you're not in the mood for Marriott, Cardpool will buy them back for 86%, plus another 4% for going through TCB.

Does the point count towards companion pass? Any info in this would be very helpful.

My points for this deal posted this morning. I can confirm that they are not CPQP this time around as well.

P.S. Welcome to Flyertalk NewToRewards80!
