Problems with June 15, 2010 schedule extension

Darn...keep getting an error that it is too far in the future (for December?)

Great, I booked my outbound award; at one point for the return they were back to ending 11/5, then I could select a Jan. date and got a "too early" message, then finally got it to work. Since I start work at 10.30 today it was complicating the decision of when to leave for work; it's nice that it was up this early and I could do it all from home.

Yes all booked, but some fares were already sold out which I think is an error.

Apart from big events like the $30/$60/$90 sale, June schedule opening day is the most demanding on the systems. There tend to be a variety of weird and seemingly random errors. I've had several problems, including a general error just trying to view fares for a particular market (both the calendar and date-specific).

SWAVictor as of a moment ago someone had forgotten to update the date picker on the home page (the one on the flight page was updated).

not the best schedule release ever.
I had everything entered - BUF to FLL.
Prices were up almost 100% over last year but still willing to book
Entered all the data for a family of 4, put in credit card info and system crashed.
Tried calling - obviously can't get through.
Not Southwest's best day

First I got Undefined Error on the final page, then "Currently unable to get itinerary information." when I tried to start over, even logging in again and even firing up a different browser. Lame.

I liked it better when only FTers knew about the extension. Now that everybody knows, the load makes the system unusable.

Total meltdown...far worse than merely lame.

Luckily I had just two one way award flights to book for Mrs. fnoob and got those done before word spread too far that booking was available.

I got through ~30 minutes ago (& successfully booked award tix at Christmas time), then had to call to separate an old reservation for two. Afterward, I tried to go back online and got the same message as LSM above.

PS - I just went back & got a somewhat different message:

# Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
