My wife as my companion PUJ-MDW-LAX on one reservation. Checked in right at T-24
She got A57 on PUJ-MDW and A42 on MDW-LAX.
I got A17 and A18 respectively as A-List. Since it was an Intl reservation, there did seem to be some sort of linkage on checkin, even as a companion on a different PNR, so not sure if that had any influence.
Other couples on the same PUJ-MDW flight also racing to do T-24 checkin, but had to enter passport numbers, got B10/B11 and B17/B18

Heres a riddle... 8/13 FNT-MDW.
Me: A-list, 24hr +2 minutes, B15 (????)
Companion: no status, 24hr +1 min, B05
Checked in the companion first as I usually do, and I end up 10 slots behind her. Obviously not a big deal (not expecting a full flight, and it's 45 minute ride) but just very odd.
I've never seen this in quite a few flights - anyone else?
Serendipidous late boarding?

I flew WN to Boston to see my Cousin Graduate High school in June 2017 and did not pay for any upgrades for boarding.
One A59 and the rest were all B's. I booked PDX-DEN One Way Non-Stop, then I booked DEN-MCI-MDW-BOS one way. On the way back all B's and went: BOS-STL-MCI-PDX.

BOS-BNA early Saturday morning, checked in about an hour late for 3 people - B45, B46, B47. Then checked in right on time for the flight home this morning, BNA-BOS, B37, B54, B55. Those second two were a minute or two late, bad connection on the app, but we still got a row together!

Checked in yesterday for WN 1881 BOS-BWI at T-24 and got B05. Also got B40 for BWI-ORF at the same time. No biggie, as it's a short flight and I have checked bags.
On 1881 I ended up with an aisle seat in Row 7 (couple in window and middle) with plenty of OHB space. Space between armrests seemed much narrower than I remembered. Plane was a 737-700.
EDIT: Also got an aisle seat on 5638, row 15, next to a couple with a small infant. Baby was fussy right before takeoff and then slept the entire trip (even slept through the landing).
