A Preferred "kicking tail" ticket

Hi travelers,

i had received something new. These coupons, or tickets are the same size as the drink coupons. However, they are to reward a FA for a job well done.

Has anyone else seen these tickets?

Does anyone know if the FA's really appreciate these?

Any idea on the type of rewards the FA's can get?

Yes, I've gotten them. I think they are actually "Kick Tail" vouchers.

Yes, they love them (and can lead to a lot of free drinks).

I think they get entered into various monthly, quarterly, and annual employee drawings for cash, free flights, a car, etc.

1. Yes (at least the past 2 years). Someone on FT reported you can call the A+ line & they'll send you additional if you ask....I need to do that before Spring/Summer travel ramps up.

2. Yes they do, as do other non-flight deck Employees

3. Monthly drawings for extra <paid> leave days, positive space/must fly passes & related. As palmetto86 reports, additional eligibility to be (re)entered in longer-term drawings for tangible items of greater value.

What I would like is a negative Kick Tail card to give to some of the FAs I have had.

People are too willing to complain. A job well done is often ignored...

I have mine ready when boarding. If an OA turns away a scammer, they earn a KT.

Great news travelers!

I agree, kudos is not given near enough.

I'll surely be keeping an eye out for good stuff, from boarding to landing!

Do only A-list preferred get these? As a lowly A-lister, would love to have some to pass out too.

I've had them mailed to me 3x in the past 2 years or so. Have 18 of the vouchers in my bag, never even thought to use them.

If I ever saw a gate agent enforce boarding order, I'd stop and hand one over. 2 years and countless flights, hasn't happened to the point where I'd pass one out.
