Profit-Sharing Checks to Average $13,080

More than 47,400 Southwest Airlines workers will each receive on average a $13,080 profit-sharing check for the company's 2015 performance.

The Dallas-based airline will pay out a record $620 million in profit-sharing to its workers. The payments will be made in April.

Southwest said the payments will equal 15.6 percent of each eligible employee's compensation, or the equivalent of eight weeks' pay.

The profit-sharing is in addition to the company match and other amounts contributed to Southwest retirement plans, as well as amounts contributed for health care coverage and other wellness programs.

Well, one might note that the US creating the technology to develop the Balken reserves was actually the real trigger to busting the oil cartel pricing oligarchy.

Now, if we could just do something about the US domestic airlines Legacy 3 + 1 cartel.
