save money save a seat and overhead bin space ?
We love the nice wide southwest seats and legroom vs. AA.
However, passengers are saving seats and now overhead bin space vs. Paying for a lower boarding number ? Passengers are so creative.

What nice wide Southwest seats? Southwest has the least amount of width at 17" among any of the carriers. If you fit in a Southwest seat your going to fit in a AA seat. All of AA aircraft except the A319 is at comparable pitch with WN majority '37-700 fleet of 31".

Those of us who fly regularly, earn status on AA are able to PRE-RESERVE exit row seats, MCE - both with more leg room. Early boarding for elites also assures plenty of overhead space.

How are WN seats wider? Why would you listen to someone who is not a crew member and who tries to "save" OH space? Just put your bag where you want and ignore them. Let them raise the issue with crew if they want. They won't get anywhere.
