Anyway to extend rapid reward 1 certificates

Is there a way to extend rapid reward one certificates that are about to expire. I know there is a trick to do it but I don't remember how it is done..

Unfortunately that ability (thru the "transfer two-step") went away when they shut down the AirTran A+ Rewards program.

So if the certificates are not eligible for reissue then they are just going to go expired without use.

Is rapid rewards 1 being phased out with the elimination of the a+ rewards from airtran?

Eventually it will be obsolete, in about 2 years.

Why not just gift them to someone instead of letting them expire? Or call the 214 number, let them know your situation, and see if they can put them to some charitable use?

Or "trade" you for one that expires later on.

They expire 1/6/15 so I still have a little over a month to use them

Anyone have travel plans that have a later certificate?

I would like to trade certificates if possible to allow to use later. If anyone has any travel plans for the first two weeks of December. I know I can use one but would be willing to trade 2 certificates for 2 that will expire later... My certificates expire 1/6/15. Anyone? Private message me for details.
