Drinks
I think we should just do away with coupons, credit card readers, all the hastle and go back to pre 1990. Free drinks period.

Maybe some hope here. I used to use the old "ticket machines' to buy tix which always came with open drink coupons. I did make myself part of the class action group years ago but never heard anything.

Perhaps they need to be sued for malpractice for accepting this settlement. I'm now retired from business travel. How am I to practically use 60+ within a year even with my thirst?

You had the opportunity to excuse yourself from the class and pursue your own claim against Southwest.

I can't recall if it was disclosed what the proposed payout would be being so long ago.
Lawyers should have been paid in the same currency they negotiated for the Plaintiff's!

You can view the settlement agreement here.
-- One coupon per flight (doesn't say if that includes more than one for multiple legs of a connection)
-- The plaintiffs received (no more than) $15,000 each
-- There were many additional arguments regarding the attorney's fees, but the settlement initially approved payment of up to $7 million, but no less than $1.75 million.
