Finding Stray Bullets Not Uncommon at Little Rock Airport
At Little Rock Airport, it's not uncommon for ground workers to stumble upon spent bullets ...hundreds of them. Nearby residents and those visiting especially on larger holidays can sometimes be found celebrating by firing off shots into the air. While no airborne planes have been hit in the process, the bullets do eventually come back down and are still dangerous laying on the ground of the airport because they can be sucked up into an airplane's engine.
