Two A320's in Different Configs ?

Can anyone shed light on the following matter ?

SAA seems to have two A320's in a different/old config ( ZS-SZX /ZSSZY) , does anyone know the reasoning behind this and why not just make all the whole A320 fleet the same ? I have flown a lot on SAA A320's and have never encountered the seat map on SA566 on 21/01 which i will be flying, which indicates that it most likely will be one of the A320's list above ....

Thanks

SZX and SZY were the first two of twelve of SA's A320s that SA operate. They were not part of the original order from Airbus and came via leases from BOC more than a year before the Airbus order. The new A320 layout and seats came with the ten aircraft ordered directly from Airbus (SZA-J)

I am not sure what the current layout is, or what the seats are though.

In business and economy or just economy? The original business seats were European style 3-3 with blocked middle seats. Is that still the case or have they replaced them with the new A320 business class seats, or possibly even old A319 or B738 seats? Thanks for the update.

Same throughout the aircraft , business and economy the old style as in the same as the B737 config. The A319 J seats are better ...

Thanks! Sounds like they transfered older B738 seats when they shifted some aircraft to Mango.
