RTW on Skyteam?
Does anyone know if it would make a significant difference if I bought a RTW ticket starting in France from KLM or AF? Or I could start my trip from Belgium or NL or Switzerland or anywhere else close I guess. I'm FP Rouge if that matters.

caution!
What truly sucks on a SkyTeam RTW in Business Class is that you either sit in coach or fork over another USD 100 per segment to be seated in domestic F.
I think that somewhere in the past the prices for different zones/countries were posted. One important point, in the US they are 7 day advance and in much of Europe they can be bought last minute.
Many thanks for the price list... I've converted the prices to EUR and USD and sorted by cheapest F tickets. I wonder if Tunisia is correct, as it seems ridiculously high. In addition, I didn't have exchange rates for New Caledonia, Polynesia, Samoa, Slovakia and Tonga. I'll fix those later.
The F out of Egypt is very cheap indeed. Now if there were only decent F on SkyTeam... I think I'll stick with oneworld for RTWs for now.
