Elite Benefits
I'm a low AZ Elite card holder who is about to fly Korean and Air France for the first time.
It will actually be my first time flying any SkyTeam airline and I'm trying to figure out what benefits I'm actually entitled to?
If someone could help point me in the right direction then that would be great.

I'm a Delta Silver aka Skyteam Elite so I can point you in the right direction. To start, here's a link to the Skyteam website:
http://www.skyteam.com/en/about/faq/elite-elite-plus/
It lists:
As you can see, it's not much. You'll be able to check in at a better counter, in some airports it'll be a designated Silver/Skyteam Elite counter, in others it's at the Sky Priority counter. Priority boarding is hit or miss. That's really about it though.

It lists:
What benefits do I enjoy as a SkyTeam Elite passenger?
SkyTeam Elite passengers enjoy benefits such as :
Priority reservation wait list (when fares permit).
Preferred seating.
Priority check-in counters.
Priority boarding or at leisure.

Yeh ok thanks.
So as far as I understand the benefits are
- 1 Extra Checked Bag
- Priority Checkin (which for Korean airlines is at the morning calm counter?)
- Priority Boarding
- Preferred Seating (I've been able to select a seat in the 3rd row for free so I'm guessing this is what they mean)

Flew AF as a Skyteam Silver today. Gate areas have no separate boarding area for ST Elite, at least not in Terminal 2F which are the European flights. Sky Priority was called for boarding followed by Skyteam Elite but it wasn't enforced so basically everyone boarded via the Economy lane.
