Find Delta Partners Award Availability
I'm trying to find a source where I can search partners award availability using my Delta points. Is there any other way of searching other then calling Delta over and over trying to find a competent agent? I get so frustrated that I can't see Aeromexico or Korean Air, China Southern seats.
This tool (put together by sbm12) searches Aeroflot, China Southern, Czech Airlines, Korean Air, Shanghai Airlines (part of China Eastern), Tarom and Vietnam Airlines:
Programs: DL PM; TK *G; HHonors Gold; SPG Gold; Points but dirt with everyone else

It can only see KE inventory on Korea-Japan routes (like every other tool), so it's pretty worthless for KE.
AM can be found on DL.dumb now. Many of the partners can be searched using the FlyingBlue engine on airfrance.us. "Classic" awards on flights other than AF/KL should be bookable with SkyMiles. Right now, there's something weird going on with DL and AF/KL when it comes to award tickets, so hard to tell what you might be able to book in that direction.

I check KLM all the time but Delta always tells me no availability when I call. A few agents have said that just because KLM shows it doesn't mean we will have it.

You may find the following thread in the DL SM Forum helpful:

Is there a particular flight/date you are interested in?

KVS Tool fully supports Award Availability on all SkyTeam airlines (except for KE, which no other Tool or service supports anyway), as well as most of DL SM non-alliance partners:

So, let say I find an award space on Aero Mexico, will that say its available using my delta miles? When I find discounted award seats on KLM, Delta never seems to be able to find the space.
I just did this, HNL to BKK. Only looking for upgrade to Business though.
I'm a Delta Plat and I could not get any seats through Japan, end of Oct is the end of their vacation season. I'm an Expertflyer subscriber so I went online to check all this. Used the Skyteam search and saw lots of KE, did a specific search of appropriate flights and saw lots of M/B/Y/Z buckets. KE shows max of 4.
Picked dates that had availability, then called Delta with those specific dates. They struck out on DL flights. I suggested KE after we discussed the whole Japan vacation thing. She immediately said no availability. I kept talking to her, knowing they were there. My plan B was to hang up and try another agent later.
But....she "found" the seats, and, this is the ICE CREAM, she booked the "B" seats at a reasonable fare, less than my last DL. 25,000 miles each way upgrade fee, and can't confirm specific seats till within 30 days of departure.
My only concern is what my Medallion qualification scenario is. I was assured by the agent that I will earn "100 %". Well with Delta I do better than that, so we shall see.
I was looking at AMS-EBB availability in 2/13. KVS shows that on KQ CS=4, which I think means there should be 4 Biz seats, and it shows YX=0. However, when I call to have them book the flight via long sell, they tell me that there's no biz seats available, but there are Y seats available. Am I reading KVS wrong for KQ?

I'm now looking at 2/18, but it also shows CS4, but they can't book it for a Biz award for me. I've called back twice and talked to 2 different reps, both of with are insistent that there's Y seats available from AMS-NBO on #117, but no Biz seats available. They say that O=0, so there's no award availability. Am I missing something here?
Edit to add: Now they said that they show Q=4, but they have no clue what Q is, and they can't book me into it. They still maintain that O=0, therefore I can't book a Biz award seat on the flight.
