China AL AMS-BKK- No KLM miles!
I am sitting here in the Royal Crown lounge in Amsterdam pretty pissed off.
Two weeks ago I bought a Biz class o/w ticket Online through Lastminute.com thinking it was as KLM ticket. Routing being MAN-AMS-BKK
The AMS-BKK bit being operated by China airlines.
Today I flew the same route after buying a ticket online and was told that by the Flying Blue help desk KLM do not credit any points for the sector AMS_BKK AMS flown by China airlines.
Even though you can go onto the KLM website and choose at the same price if you want to fly KLM or China airlines on this route. Makes a joke of Skyteam, what is the point of it!

Looking at a dummy booking on klm.com for MAN-AMS-BKK one-way, on KL4240 in ZFFWG it states:

I wasn't quite clear if you are about to travel on KL4240, and have been told it won't earn FB miles - or whether you flew on it two weeks ago, tried to claim miles retroactively today and was told it was ineligible.
If the former, you will need to wait to complete the flight, and then try to make a claim. If the latter, you would presumably need to contact the FB Service Centre and see if they will still credit you for the flight (although the FB Helpdesks the lounges in Schiphol are normally pretty good, so it's concerning if they're saying this flight isn't eligible...)

I think boarding cards normally show the operating flight number (although they will sometimes indicate the code-share number(s) as well). However, if your ticket shows it as a code-share, then this should be sufficient to show it was a KLM flight...
Out of interest, did you show the helpdesk only the CI-numbered boarding card, or did you also produce the KL-coded eticket? And did they look up the booking in their system, to check how it was coded?
You can earn Miles on all flights marketed PS, AF or KL and operated by Ukraine International, except for flights between Kiev and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
But I have always gotten miles, 2006-2010, even with the above text.

My best guess is that the rule says that booking the flight as China Airlines means no KLM miles, but if you were to ticket it as a KLM codeshare, you should get some miles.
I even had to suffer it for doing a BKK-TPE-LAX flight in Business Class and only have the TPE-LAX credited to my FB miles.
After calling FB they told me that it was a rule that was clearly stated that CI doesn't allow mileage redemption on the AMS-BKK-TPE route, and I told them that I understood that and I wasn't concerned as I was flying BKK-TPE-LAX and the BKK-TPE wasn't even the flight that came from AMS but a regulard TPE-BKK-TPE flight, that the plane I took never ever flew to or from AMS before picking me up. It took them months to get a reply from CI, I didn't let it go and I finally got my missing miles...
Well on Flying Blue's website the embargo is no longer there.
Great news that this anomaly has been removed.
Without wishing to sound ungrateful, I wonder if there is any chance of my pet peeve about some flights marketed by Flying Blue member airlines KQ, RO and UX not earning miles being addressed? (Currently, all AF and KL coded flights earn miles*, but KQ, RO and UX coded flights operated by non-ST airlines do not... See this thread for details...)
* With the exception of some CCM operated flights to Corsica.
