Question Adding insurances without permission

Hi All,

I have an issue that I need advice about.

Last week I hired a car at Barcelona airport.

I booked it though the site and prepaid.

At the time of signing the rental agreement, the Sixt agent did not once mention adding insurances, nor did I ask for it. As far as I was concerned I was signing for the original agreement that I had booked online. So has the agent mis-sold me my agreement?

I have already email their customer services and vented my frustration.

How can this be legal?

Do I have a case? Or do I have to suck it up and pay?

Thank you,
Kam.

Another lessons learned to always check the rental contract when it is presented and dispute on the spot.

Hard to impossible to proof later on you rejected the optional insurance.

Try to contact the SixtCustomerServices guys here on the board via PN. Perhaps they can sort it out for you.
