hi i'm hertz PC member and i wanted to know if i could status match to SIXT... i would feel dumb starting from the bottom, after attaining PC with hertz..

i am looking to start using them in the usa and argentina.. i'm looking to make my first SIXT 1 week reservation july 30th at EZE or AEP for 1 week.. i am also looking to see if i could get GPS in the deal.. it seems that sixt in argenitina is a little pricy, tho, so i'm looking to get a good rate on that too.. does anyone know if these locations are corporate or franchise?

spain in Sept

Hi Gary, It appears that you are very responsive to inquiries and I have some questions for you. 1. What are the some tips for getting discounts on either the car or the location using flyer programs, ect or perhaps websites for a rental from Madrid to Alicante one-way for 11 days in sept using car class ITMR. Can you reasonably secure a BMW 1-series Cabrio from the other car choices within ITMR from Atocha pick-up in Madrid. I can PM you with specifics, if needed. I do have an Sixt express card acct. Thanks so much, Bruce

I'll be happy to status match.

Please apply for an Sixt Express card http://www.sixt.com/rental-services/...-express-card/ and then e-mail the membership number to gary.coughlan@sixt.com with a screenshot of your Hertz status.

We are corporate in the US, we have a Franchise Partner in Argentina.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Question any way to call Munich station directly?

Hi,

The Sixt number for Munich airport seems only to connect to central reservations. Is there any way to call the station directly? I would like to know what a CPMR booking would really be....

Tried writing to Gary, but no response....

Thanks!

no. they dont want to be called, because they are busy with customers and as they have probably 500rentals a day, no one will be even able to tell you 2h in advance what kind of car you are getting.

In 80% of all cases, it is a BMW 1 (all fashions, not the convertible though) or the Audi A3. Or if you have status or a lucky day, it is an upgrade. You basically get what you pay for.

FDAR in Germany

Is the Mercedes C class the only FDAR at the Munich airport? What about Stuttgart and Frankfurt? Are there any automatic BMW 3 or Audi A4s.

Also, are all the 3 series in Germany F30s by now?

I'd much prefer the 1 series, as the A3 is just a Golf. Is there any way to know if I'd be likely to get that? P.S., I'm Gold. Thanks

Hi, Marie. I had sent you my information and ended up with the same promise that remained unfulfilled. As a result I had no idea what I was going into the branch with and ended up with a poor experience. Please check your e-mail for more details.

Sixt Iceland?

Can someone please provide more info about the CDAN (VW Golf) and FDAR (Audi A4) models in Sixt Iceland KEF location?

Which particular models are they?
CDAN VW Golf Petrol : 1.6, 1.4 TSI, 2.0 TFSI, or 1.9 Diesel?
CDAR Audi A4 : A4 2.0 TDI e?

Are there "or similar" cars in each class?

I'd like to compare gas costs between the models and car weights (in case it is quite windy).

Thanks!

Problem with rental at BVA airport

Hello,

I rented yesterday a car from beauvais airport branch. I had booked a FDAR (automatic) but was given a manual as there was no available automatic cars. (please note that I was said that automatic was only a preference and it had no extra cost by the branch agent, which was obviously wrong, he did however back down after I showed him onsite on my iPad how I could book a car a month from now, from that same branch and that FDAR was different from FDMR and that it was more expensive)

This is an issue for me and my family as I have rented the car for 2 weeks, and it is mainly for my wife who is not comfortable with manual cars. Other issue is that we need a relatively large car as we are with our 3 children so I can' t be given a smart or an economy category for example! (and this is of course not what I booked).

The branch is trying to find a solution but they dont seem very aggressive with it neither very effective. I was told I would be called yesterday afternoon and I wasn't, I had to call back myself this morning.

Any way you could give a hand with this is problem. I am a platinium member and I have always had great experience from sixt till now.

Thanks,

Chris
