Pickup: HAM
Dropoff: Hamburg Hbf
Duration: 2 days
Booked: LWAR
Received: LWAR
Offers: was offered Audi Q7 or A6 avant S-line. Don't like SUVs so took A6. Was also offered A7 for $$$. When I said "diamond so shouldn't have to pay" the lady said yes you're right but I'm not sure I can do it since you're returning to a different station. I didn't have time so accepted A6 anyways. Beautiful Audi (albeit with 20K) so was quite happy.

Pickup: Munich Haidhausen
Dropoff: MUC
Booked: CLMR
Received: Golf Variant TDI
Had only a choice between Golf and Ford (wasn't impressed!). I like the basic Golf but the Variant is soooo ugly. Also had 21K!

Booked: ECMR
Received: CLMR (Mercedes A100)
Offers: had to fight a bit to get to the A... Was offered a Renault Espace (SWMR) too but declined (French car!). An X1 was free but they had to "keep" it (never understand that!). Merc A was fine but I don't like the car one bit!! Ultimately a smaller car was more fun in any case driving over St. Bernard Pass.

Do upgrades from LCAR to XDAR ever happen in the US, as a two class upgrade? I've only ever received an upgrade to XCAR, nothing higher without them asking for money.

Received: FDAR (Mercedes C Class with automatic gearbox and navigation)
Was asked "if I mind a car with automatic gearbox". Told them that I very much preferred them.
