uggghhh... dont remind me of the queue! Drove there Saturday, didn't even bother - did a u-turn and drove away.

Queue for what? If you go at SuperTree Grove at middle of the work week, there should not be that crowded - I was there on Friday and there were plenty of spaces where you can sit down and watch.

Or are you talking about the SkyWay? Then forget about it - it is 1.5h wait.

Queue for parking. I was only able to drive there on Saturday.

If you're out all day, pick up other family members along the way for some other activities and think of going to Gardens by the Bay as an afterthought there's no need to guess or think about Uber or Public Transport. Sometimes those options are not the solution.
But no drama. Turned around and did other stuff.
