New Pod Hotel in Singapore

One of my staff in Singapore just sent me this link;

http://thepod.sg/index.php

May consider trying it out for overnight layovers/short stay. Not really familiar with the area though (i can't visualize it).

Does anyone have any first hand experience?

It's in the "Arab street" corner of Singapore;quite central in fact ; lots of food stuff around and where many backpackers are located.

I like the Queen setup but do not like sharing bathroom with strangers at all.

I think it looks cool. But I really need a room to myself. Great location!

$47-108 SGD per night? To stay in what is essentially dorm rooms? I'd stay in a Fragrance hotel before I stayed here.

Looks similar to the one at Haneda Airport: http://www.first-cabin.jp.e.jr.hp.tr...terminal1.html

That's rather cheap. I might give it a try at $42 for a night.

Must say this isn't really a new hostel at all, people I know stayed here last summer... but it really is a great hostel. £35 per night on average is a great deal. It means you can stay in Singapore for 1 month for under £1k! (or 4 nights at MBS)

I decided I would try this out on my one day in Singapore this summer. I'll report back.
