Sorry for the short notice, but I'm on a flight out of SIN tonight and was hoping to grab a good meal at the airport with my fiancé - preferably in an area where non-travelers are allowed since she won't be joining me on this trip.
Asian food is preferred. (I'm heading to the US so I will have access to plenty of western food soon enough.) Any suggestions?
Was in T3 in May, it has a great foodcourt. Some nice Vietnamese, Indian, Korean, and western food, although be warned: Burger King is still undergoing renovation work.
Not sure but Terminal 1 had nice Chinese restaurant. Upstairs from checkin counters
That would be sorely misnamed Soup Restaurant, which does a wide range of Peranakan dishes like their trademark samsui chicken, and which would also be my choice for a "nice" (read: non-hawker) but authentic meal in Changi.

I think all the terminals have a staff canteen/food court beneath each terminal. Just ask the staff and they'll tell you how to get there. Tasty stuff!

Yes, the foodcourt is in the basement of T3 (before security), tried it in Jan this year and it was yummy.
It's about 50 cents more than the same thing in DT, but considering it's an airport, it's really not that bad.

Thanks guys. We ended up hitting up the local food centre before departing for the airport, but I will definitely keep this input in mind for next time..
The T2 staff canteen is on floor 3M, aim for carpark 2A and go up the stairs http://mylifeinsin.blogspot.sg/2013/03/eating-at-changi-airport-local-way.html
