Transit? Emirates(BNE) transfering (SIN) to JetStar (BKI)
Hi. I apologize for yet another transit question, but I am still unsure after going through and reading all of the previous questions/answers, so I am hoping for some reassurance.
We are flying from Brisbane on Emirates arriving 8:15 a.m. and I would like to buy the JetStar flight to BKI that leaves at 10:34 am. Both Emirates and JetStar are in Terminal 1, so it seems like this would be OK. There is a 2 hr 20 min. layover to acomplish the transfer.
Has anyone had any luck with Emirates checking luggage all the way through for a budget like Jetstar?
Does it seem as though we will have to gather our luggage and go back through Immigration?
Thanks, Heather

It's clear that Jetstar doesn't provided baggage transfer International Carrier to Jetstar at SIN. See http://www.jetstar.com/sg/en/popup/f...nnections.aspx
So yes you have to go landside, get your baggage and check in again.
