I paid $7,155 PP ($6,699 plus $456 in taxes and fuel surcharges) and consider it the bargain of the year... four sensational SQ flights!

SFO777, what are your routes? Any of them in the new cabin?

Possibilty of nesting 2 RTW tickets

The RTW Deal in First seems so attractive. I have an idea and I don't know if it would fly.

We usually take a 10-day break in July and another 10-day break in August. My wife and I need to go to HKG in July next year. And we will have to go to FRA and DXB in August. So if we buy 2 sets of RTW tickets and use them in a nested way. Would this work?

In July:
YYZ-SFO (Separate AC ticket)
SFO-HKG-SIN (First RTW ticket)
SIN-ICN-SFO (Second RTW ticket)
SFO-YYZ (Separate AC ticket)

In August:
YYZ-IAH (Separate AC ticket)
IAH-DME-DXB (Second RTW ticket)
DXB-DEL (Separate EK or AI ticket)
DEL-SIN (Second RTW ticket)
SIN-FRA-JFK (First RTW ticket)
JFK-YYZ (Separate ticket)

This would allow us to fly in F to the both destinations at a bargain rate. The only question is whether they will allow us to nest the two tickets.

Two more examples (both FEZSQ):

1. JFK-FRA-SIN-SFO: US$6699+$467.90=$7166.90

2. IAH-SIN-SFO: US$6699+$376.10 = $7075.10

Fuel charges just rose. These were purchased before the latest increase.

Jarusoba:

IAD won't work. It's IAH (Houston), not IAD (Dulles) that SQ serves................

SIN-FRA-JFK (First RTW ticket)

This fare is only valid x-US so your second RTW starting and ending in SIN would not qualify under that FEZSQ fare... not sure what the x-SIN fares are.

Why not...
YYZ-JFK on AA or DL.
JFK-FRA-SIN-HKG on SQ RTW 1
HKG-SFO on SQ RTW 1
SFO-YYZ on AC.

And on the 2nd:
YYZ-JFK on AA/DL.
JFK-FRA on SQ RTW 2
FRA-DBX-(DEL) on LH/EK
DBX (DEL)-SIN-SFO on SQ RTW 2
SFO-YYZ on AC.

Plus you'd both get almost 60,000 AC Elite qualifying miles for the two RTWs.

Couldn't you do these on AC, therefore generating even more *A miles??

AC doesn't fly YYZ-JFK NS... could always fly YYZ-LGA and take a taxi, might even get to T4 faster.

Yes, this should work, although I prefer one trip doing Asia, one trip doing Europe. That's why I wonder if the RTW ex SIN has the fare, whether I can nest the two RTW tickets.

BTW, I checked out your trip report. Nice trip!! Nice SGs too!
