I see the rules on a very early post. Is it still true SQ only RTW excludes A345 flights (i.e. SIN-LAX/EWR)?
Looks like this has changed. As of 10 June, the restriction against use of SQ-only FEZSQ and CEZSQ RTW fares on the A345 is gone. The sector surcharge in C is US$900 for either EWR-SIN vv or LAX-SIN vv; it's still US$600 for trans-pacific on the 77W, and US$500 for SIN-Europe vv on the 77W or A380. No surcharge in C if you pay the FEZSQ price, and voluntarily downgrade a sector to J.
No other changes to the fare rules.
BTW, the rules do not make it clear whether you could now do a "RTW" using just the A345 flights. My guess is "no" --they're both "trans-pacific" flights, even though SQ21 never goes that way.
But you could certainly now do SQ25 JFK-SIN, and SQ22 SIN-EWR. And that's actually all the way round........
You could do SQ21 EWR-SIN, and SQ26 SIN-JFK, too -- which isn't.

I thought SIN-EWR was considered TATL, not TPAC precisely to prevent this situation (so that JFK-SIN-EWR is not considered a RTW).

SIN-EWR is considered as transpacific, SIN-JFK is considered as transatlantic. I know EWR-SIN usually flies eastbound, but it is considered as transpacific for fare purpose.
New to this. Is the routing for this price like LHR-SIN-ERW/JFK-FRA-LHR?
F.R.
These are SQ only RTW fares. No codeshares allowed.
Since backtracking within Europe is permitted, you should be able to ticket LHR-SIN-EWR//JFK-FRA. Note this is based on fare rules, I have not ticketed it this way.
Alright. But since no intra-Europe flights are involved why you mention backtracking?
F.R.
The full routing is LHR-SQ-SIN-SQ-EWR/surface/JFK-FRA/surface/LHR. FRA-LHR is backtracking as FRA is to the east of LHR. The ex-LHR RTW ticket needs to terminate at LHR.

IIRC, all of Europe counts as one "zone" for this fare, so FRA and LHR are more or less interchangeable. That's what makes JFK-FRA//LHR-SIN valid on this fare even though FRA-LHR is actually traveling west on an eastbound ticket.

"No backtracking is permitted except between two SQ European destinations. This may be by surface or via SQ services......no city may be transitted more than once.........."
Since there are no longer any intra-European services, the rule is partially moot. And an eastward ex-LHR RTW SQ-only ticket would end in FRA or DME, not LHR....
