Is it true that there are no minimum stopover stays on SQ metal RTW? So whether its just 1 hour or several days it doesn't matter?
True.
If one is so inclined, one could just connect in SIN and keep on going. Not advised though unless one has an amazing capacity for continuously consuming Dom or Krug for 48 hours.

Wow, that means I don't have to stay for 1 night in FRA and just continue on to JFK from SIN.. Therefore no need to apply for visa. Or is this not valid (i.e SIN-FRA on SQ 26, then followed by FRA-JFK with the same flight)?

SQ 26 SIN-JFK is the same 744 all the way with a short stop in FRA and is certainly a valid RTW flight. Not sure about visa requirements on a thru flight touching down in the EU but with only a little more than an hour stop and lots of SIN-FRA thru pax, would think that a visa is not required. I'm sure other FTers can help on this one.
No visa needed. You won't be allowed to pass the Schengen entry kiosks, though -- you'll have to stay airside.
But there's a lot of FRA Terminal 1 that's airside -- including most of the duty-free shops, and all the LH lounges (which are also -- except the LH F -- the *G lounges).
SQ 26 will use the C side of the terminal because it continues to the USA.

Thank you guys, I'm making the changes first thing tomorrow morning. Can't wait for my first RTW!
The total they offered me is $ 7,080 which is quite decent I think..

Odd...I spoke to them last week and was told I could fly JFK - SFO the long way without any extra stopovers on consecutive flights (aside from usual schedule variance between flights). I novel idea, but hell even in First!
There are no minimum stopover requirements, or minimum number of days required overseas before returning to your origin when using the xEZSQ fares.
The three stopovers -- and the ten-day minimum stay -- are *A requirements. The problem is that the agents in India who answer the SQ res line from North America numbers often don't know the difference between the fares and/or the difference in the rules. Some don't even know there is an XEZSQ fare menu, or an SQ/VS, or SQ/VS/NZ RTW, and will insist that the *A fare is the only one available.
I agree with above poster.. I have managed to call SQ and ask for supervisor to book the SQ only ticket.. Absolutely no problem.. Routing was LAX-NRT-SIN-FRA-JFK.. Great deal in first class ....

By the way, how much was it total? I want to compare it with mine..

Careful! Some nationalities (eg Nigeria) require a Schengen visa even if you are only passing through the international area.

My next FEZSQ -- in a couple of weeks -- came to US$7144.50 all in ex-JFK, returning to SFO. They've all been in this range.
The "XT" tax category -- which I think includes any fuel surcharges -- is $410.70, so it's the lion's share of what's added over and above the USA base fare of $6699.00.
The ones ex-IAH have been somewhat less expensive; the XT is lower.

The same as mine without HKG stopover.. Is actually ~US$ 60 cheaper if doing a stopover in HKG..
