Sorry for the confusion but it was a separate purchase.

You can do this on SQ. coach $2266, Buss $5299, first $6699. Plus taxes. If you use any of the B773ER Non stop services, there are surcharges $300- $600 depending on the destination. No surcharges for First class. Please check with SQ for surcharge rules.
This requires 7 day advance and Maximum 3 months.

Would CTS UK book this ticket for me eventhough I'm a French card holder?
What if I was to call SQ myself in England and give them my credit card information?

Thank you in advance!

(Not sure if I should post this in the SQ or Amex forum)
Dont understand your problem. If you are originating in France, SQ paris would be able to issue your ticket. If you fly in F, remember that Paris is getting the A380 on June 1, so no more FEZSQ.
If you start in London, then it is probably best to call SQ in London and book bu credit card; should be no problem to have a French card. Maybe SQ Paris could do it too, but check the price.

I need to ask 2 questions:

1. is the following route: SFO-HKG-SIN-CGK-SIN-FRA-JFK considered backtracking?
2. The meaning 'SQ Metal' only, does that or doesn't that include SQ flights operated by MI?

Thanks!

Not sure about the answer to 2, but both queries are effectively irrelevant for the FEZSQ as the rule about only touching one city once (SIN) trumps both. One city once means you can either stop or connect, not both.

You would need to route your FEZSQ as: SFO-HKG-SIN-FRA-JFK and then purchase a separate SIN-CKG-SIN ticket.

This is what I'm afraid of. That means I have to apply for a Schengen Visa. Well, thank you for your fast reply..

MI flights -- with or without an SQ codeshare -- are not part of the xEZSQ fare. But you can buy a separate MI add-on, either OW or RT, from SIN at special rates listed in the x EZSQ fare rules....six sets of add-ons in Y, another six in C.

Actually, I'm thinking of redeeming my miles for a R/T trip on MI. So that part is covered if it can't be a part of the FEZSQ fare.

On another note, is it actually more expensive to buy the RTW that starts in SIN?

Yup. A DEZSQ ex SIN is a base fare of SGD 8500 (or about US$ 5666.67 @ an exchange rate of SGD1.50 to US$1.00) vs US$ 5299 ex USA.

An AEZSQ ex SIN is a base fare of SGD 11,500, or about US$ 7666.67 vs the ex USA price of US$ 6699.

Hello. I was unable to find the answer to the following question:

Do the SQ RTW fares earn miles on *A carriers of your choice in any of the three classes Y, C or F?
(of course, depending on the mile-earning rules of various carriers for SQ flights and class of service).

Thank you.

Yes for C and F I am not sure about Y--but I think the answer is yes.

That is why I ended up with higher fare than starting from the US.. Will their fees be different also though? In any case, thanks Bitterroot!

Yes, as ac777 has noted. My FEZSQ this past year earned 28,000 EQM on AC. So just one UA/AC RT (PSP-LAS-YUL) got me to 35K and *A Gold thru AC.
