Yes, I called this number to make the booking. I didn't use the 1-800 number because as SFO777 pointed out, you'll be talking to the guys at the India call center and they might not know what they're doing. I don't want to risk it.
I'm probably going to book another one of these a month later! This time, I will route through JFK-FRA-IST-DXB-SIN-BKK-NRT-SFO. This is such a bargain considering the normal one-way F fare for any long segment would be more than the whole RTW fare.
OK, now you're making me very jealous!
I told my wife I wanted to do another RTW next spring, but she says she'd rather have a new chandelier in the DR. What kind of crazy priority is that?

Women usually have different priority than men. Having said that, it was my wife who has more of a travel bug in her. It was her who influenced me to travel like crazy. These nice travel memories linger in your mind for a long time even after the trips. And these memories make me addicted to travel!
I called the YVR number and they were a bit more informed: 3 months from first flight, routing was ok, but still said no to the airmiles. As long as AC
counts it, is all that matters to me.

I didn't even bother to ask them if there will be miles. Since you're talking AC miles. We should go by what Aeroplan says.
Portions of the post that previously appeared in this space have been deleted. I would provide you with a reason why, but doing so would likely be against the TOS.

This doesn't exclude A class. So I assume it will earn you Aeroplan status miles.
Maybe the fare does not earn you status miles for the SQ FFP. That I don't know. But who cares really, we're both AC miles collectors!
I have done RTW's in F which were booked into A class-- and I always got 50% COS in addition to the regular mileage. A class in SQ is way different than A class on AC.
From the fare rules posted earlier in this thread, it is okay to have a segment that backtracks once within Europe So the following RTW routing is legal:
sfo-hkg-sin-cdg fra-jfk
Moscow is in Europe, so I assume that this would be legal as well:
sfo-hkg-sin-cdg dme-iah
Does anyone else have a different understanding of the rules?
