Well this is a nice gesture
I think I may have hit the jackpot.

I had booked an award ticket (saver) in F for July. It was supposed to be operated by 747. I was confirmed and ticketed in F.

I was checking my itinerary online and noticed a schedule change.

A call to cusomter service revealed that indeed, it was switched to A380. my booking class was changed to R. Customer service said I was confirmed

OMG, will I really be able to keep my suite? Or will they rebook me on another flight?

OMG OMG OMG OMG

***nervous, shaking, nervous***

I am fairly certain that as your flight has been ticketed, you will not have to change your flight, in essence, you will be flying the in Singapore Airlines Suites.

Have a pleasant flight!

Totally unfair!

When F class on NRT flights vanishes, the ticketholders get free upgrades to R. But when Economy Extra vanishes the ticketholders are downgraded to ordinary economy on stopping flights!

1. isnt the above the only report of someone being moved from F to R?
2. comparing F>R and Y+>J is absolutely ridiculous, considering the price differences

oh, late summer/fall seems like.

seem to recall theyre only a month behind original announced schedule now, so hopefully HKG/SFO will still be this year. i worked out an estimate somewhere.

Yes, absolutely SQ will put on equipment by A380 sometimes in this summer or probably fall 2008. It's doesn't happens A380 will causes another delays of A380 this time. It's has been wiring problems but, its not even Airbus fault. Let's speculations begin more newest A380 is coming in near the future.

I'm kicking around three different itineraries for next March (2009) and was wondering if any of the following flights are more likely to be operated by the A380?

SQ012 SIN-NRT-LAX
SQ865 HKG-SIN
SQ866 SIN-HKG

Does anyone have a crystal ball?

I thought I read once that SIN-LAX was going to go to an A380, but it doesn't seem necessary to have two daily SIN-NRT flights operating the 380, so I'm wondering if I mis-read?

Thanks in advance!

Sean

SQ is shifting the A380 to their 4pm flight in 2nd half 2008. I just found out.
