Has anyone ever tried to order special dietary meal on J/F? I'm referring to the likes of Low Fat meal - does it come with a menu card and is there the same number and type of courses (e.g. appetizer, main, desert, cheese, bread, fruit...)?

I am unable to see any choice of dinner in the BTC menu for vegetarians out of Singapore. Any recommendation for vegetarian food appreciated. Thanks

Decided to take Lamb Shank instead which unfortunately didn't agree with me. Better luck next time.

Sorry didn't agree with you. How did it taste though? Was it the SQ Chef signature lamb shank?

Well it was from the Book the Cook menu. The mutton taste was too heavy for me.

Is it possible to Book the Cook on codeshare flight? If yes, how do you do it? Specifically, I will be on MEL-SIN LH9775 (SQ228 metal) and then on SIN-MEL on SQ227. When I try to BTC, I get only the SQ227 flight option.

From hkg to SFO in F, has anyone tried the Japanese breakfast for breakfast? I'd like to know if it's like a Kiseki or what it consists.

As for supper, I booked the lobster, but if there something else you'd recommend? How's the abalone and mushroom? Nice size portion and good quality dried abalone?

Also, from pics, I don't think the half lobster will fill me up, does SG carry extra entrees and would they have a problem if I asked for a second entrée?

Lobster thermidor FRA-JFK?

I'm a little confused about how Book the Cook works. In suites class on the FRA-JFK flight can you choose lobster thermidor even though it is a brunch flight?

what BTC options would folks recommend for someone experiencing Suites Class for the First time?

I've heard a lot about the lobster thermidor and it has already been selected as one of my options. I have multiple segments, so what should I choose for other BTC options? on another dinner flight I can again choose the lobster thermidor if its that good -- but figured I'd try something diff just for the new experience!
